Victoria Quays to Lock 1 Tinsley

Water levels have now improved and the water levels will be continuously monitored. 

Skippers of all craft are advised to be cautious when passing through Sheffield Basin to Lock 1 Tinsley due to low water levels.

Water levels will be monitored daily and until the water levels resume to a normal level essential travel only is advised.

The notice will be updated once the water levels are back to a normal level.

The water levels have improved, passage is now possible.

 Due to current low water levels passage between Victoria Quays and Lock 1 at Tinsley is not possible.

Engineers will be on site on 16th September am to resolve the low levels.

This notice will be updated when the water levels return to normal.
