Please be advised that River levels have fallen sufficiently to allow navigation from Gloucester Lock (Lock 2) to Lincomb Lock (Lock 9).

Please take extra care when navigating the river and be aware of the possibility of floating debris.

Further to the notice below, please be advised that river levels have fallen sufficiently to allow safe navigation from Lock 2 Gloucester Lock to Lock 9 Lincomb Lock.

Due to recent weather conditions and as the river recedes, there could be obstructions in the channel that we are unaware of.

Please be vigilant and report anything of concern to the Trust.

Please be advised that river levels have dropped overnight and the river is now open.

Description

Please be advised that the River Severn is closed from Gloucester Lock to Lincomb Lock due to river levels rapidly rising.

The strong stream warning traffic light system is currently in the red zone: Do Not Navigate.

We will keep you updated as soon as conditions improve.
