Due to the job being bigger then expected, the dredging works in the vicinity of the area at the top gate of Lock 21 and along the Buckingham Arm will now take longer then originally planned.
Buckingham Canal Society, who are undertaking these works have advised they aim to finish by the end of February.
Boats should proceed with caution and comply with safety marshal directions including request to await safe passage.
Description
Buckingham Canal Society will be undertaking dredging works in the vicinity of the area at the top gate of Lock 21 and along the Buckingham Arm.
These works will start on the 1st October and aim to be completed by the 24th December.
