Bridge 10, Holmes Swing Bridge - Leeds & Liverpool Canal

Please be advised the repairs are now complete at Bridge 10, Holmes swing bridge and can be operated as normal.

The navigation is now open. Our engineers have been to site and assessed the damage caused. The lock mechanism has now been removed from the Bridge and it has been taken away for repairs. An update will be provided once the repair is complete, we anticipate this will be later this week.

Please be advised navigation is currently closed at Bridge 10, Holmes Swing Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal to be able to carry out an emergency repair to the lock mechanism. Our engineers have been informed and are on their way to site.

An update will be provided this afternoon once the engineers have been to site and assessed a plan for repair this morning.
