Shot Tower, Chester - Bridge 123B, City Road Bridge to Bridge 123A, Hoole Lane Bridge - Shropshire Union Canal

Please be advised third-party contractors will be onsite on the offside of the canal between Bridge123B, City Bridge and Bridge123A, Hoole Lane on the Shropshire Union Canal to carry out redevelopment works of the Shot Tower, a third-party owned building.

To be able to carry out the necessary works, a temporary pontoon will be in place. We politely request both towpath and canal users to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop

The canal and towpath will remain open. However, the footbridge and the offside path alongside the site will be closed during the works.

Please listen to any advice that may be given by the onsite banksmen and take note of the signage onsite.
