We are pleased to advise navigation has resumed at Lock 63, Clear Water Offside Lock on the Trent & Mersey Canal. The team have been back to site today and repaired the issue that was causing the leak.

Our team have been to site today with efforts to complete the grouting works needed at Lock 63, Clear Water Offside Lock on the Trent & Mersey Canal. Unfortunately, a repair was unsuccessful due to the ground conditions and it now requires the grouting to be done from a work boat.
Our teams are working together to organise further grouting works and inspections from within the lock chamber. An update will be provided by Monday 24 August with a timescale for these works.

Our team have arranged an onsite meeting at Lock 63, Clear Water Offside Lock on the Trent & Mersey Canal on Tuesday 18 August to plan the repair and order the required materials.
Please continue to use Lock 63, Clear Water Towpath Side Lock for navigation.
