East of Witton Railway Bridge, Tame Valley Canal

The finish date of these works have been revised.

The navigation and towpath will remain open with users being safely managed through the work area during the scaffolding erection and dismantling procedures.

Contractors on behalf of Highways England will erect scaffolding across the canal and towpath to facilitate repairs to the concrete bent spanning the canal, approximately 100 metres East of Witton Railway Bridge. When the scaffolding is in place, there will be ample headroom above the navigation and towpath.
