Lock 44, Yewtree Lock, Offside Lock, Trent & Mersey Canal

Please be advised works to repair the top paddle alongside the scheduled works to replace the offside top gate at Lock 44, Yewtree Lock, Offside Lock on the Trent & Mersey Canal have now been scheduled.

Works will start onsite Monday 21 September till, and inclusive of, Friday 16 October. You can see more about these works here.

Please be advised, the top paddle at Lock 44, Yewtree Lock, Offside Lock on the Trent & Mersey Canal will be repaired alongside a scheduled repair to the lock gate.

We anticipate the team will be onsite in 6 weeks’ time and an update will be provided by Friday, 18 September.

The scheduled repair was delayed due to the coronavirus crisis, however we are planning a repair within the next 4 weeks. An update will be provided Friday, 7 August.
