Please be advised Third party contractors, working for Cheshire West & Chester Council, will be onsite to carry out repairs and repainting the parapet handrails on both sides of Bridge 184, Broken Cross Bridge on the Trent & Mersey Canal. To be able to carry out maintenance of the bridge & parapet, temporary overhead scaffold will be in place.

The canal and towpath will remain open but we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop if asked to do so.

Please listen to any advice that may be given by the onsite banksmen to take note of the signage onsite.
