Our local team have been working hard to bring the water levels back up between Lock 16 and Lock 17. The waterway is now navigable again, but it will take a bit f time to be completely back to normal levels. Please proceed with care.

Description

Due to paddles being left open at Lock 17 we are experiencing issues with low water between Locks 16 and 17 on the Grand Union Northampton Arm which is restricting movement for boats. Our team is currently on the waterway working to restore the water levels although it will take up to 24 hours to return to normal.

Please look to conserve water as much as possible if moving on the canal as this will help us to return the water levels to the required level as soon as possible.
