Our contractors have reviewed the repairs required at Bridge 44, Monkey Marsh Swingbridge, and have agreed these can be done without the need for a navigation closure. The repairs will now be carried out under short local restrictions later in the spring and dates for this work will be confirmed once they have been agreed with the Council Highways team. This stoppage is now cancelled.

A stoppage is required for repairs to the swing bridge to improve the ease of its operation.
