Between Bath Deep Lock 8/9 and Wash Lock 10, Kennet & Avon

We are sorry to advise that the towpath is closed between Bath Deep Lock (8/9) and Wash Lock (10) in Bath, due to a Police incident.

A short diversion will be in place and customers should follow Police instructions when making their way around the site. We will update this notice later today, when the incident has been closed.

Please remember our advice - only move your boat if it’s essential (not for leisure purposes) and minimise your use of the towpath.

If you are not currently occupying your boat the government guidance is that you must not visit it (this means no short trips or breaks on your boat at this time).
