We are pleased to advise the new barrier has been installed at Bridge 20, Coxhead Swing Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal and navigation has resumed without restriction.

Please be advised we are still waiting on delivery for the replacement barrier. Once delivered, we anticipate the installation of the barrier will take 2 days.

Please be advised the restriction will remain in place at Bridge 20, Coxhead Swing Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal as our contractors continue to source a replacement barrier which was taken at the time of the vehicle strike.

Please be advised, Bridge 20, Coxhead Swing Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool canal has suffered damage to the barriers following a vehicle strike which occurred over the weekend. Due to this, passage through the bridge will be available by appointment only.
