Raybolds Lock to Walsall Lock 8, Walsall Canal

As part of a wider NPIF Towpath Resurfacing Project, works are carried out to re-surface towpath and improve access. To enable construction, all access points onto and off the canal at this location will be closed.

The towpath must be closed to ensure safety of the public. Diverting signage will be placed in advance of the works at relevant access points.

Workboats are being utilised to undertake the towpath repairs along the Walsall Lock flight, so there may be short delays whilst boats are being loaded/ unloaded at various locations within this area. Please observe local diversions or seek alternative routes.
