Description

We have been advised that Selby Swing Bridge  and Cawood Bridge have had their electrical, mechanical and hydraulic operating systems submerged due to the high levels of flood water on the River Ouse.

Currently the bridges are not able to swing, engineers will assess any damage when river levels subside.

Please contact the bridge operator on 01609 536854 for advice on headroom before you approach the bridge.

We will update this notice when we have further information.
