Description
Third party contractors will be working on the towpath to undertake refurbishment works to the bridge soffit and abutments.
To manage the works safely, the towpath works will be undertaken at night between 22:00pm-05:00am, during which time the towpath will be restricted and therefore closed and diverted.
Towpath users are advised to observe advanced warning signs, instructions from banksmen, and follow towpath diversion signs to navigate around the towpath closure.
The canal navigation shall remain open
