Description
Please be advised third-party contractors, working on behalf of Lancashire County Council, are onsite to construct a bridge over the Lancaster Canal as part of their Preston Western Distributor and East-West Link Road project.
The towpath is closed between Bridge 19, Quakers Bridge and Bridge 21, Bryars Bridge on the Lancaster Canal. A diversion route is in place.
Whilst we expect no delay to canal navigation, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors onsite.
