Bank Protection Works (Chesterfield Canal) - Drakeholes

Customers are asked to only move if essential to reach services and to follow government guidance at all times.

Contractors will be installing rock rolls and back filling to make the towpath wider on a 150m section upstream of the visitor moorings on the topside of the Tunnel.

Can skippers of all craft please slow down, reduce wash and follow instructions of the contractors on site.

The towpath will remain open during the works and users are advised to follow instructions given by the on-site team.
