Bridge 9A, Leigh Branch, Leeds & Liverpool Canal

Please be advised third party contractors will be onsite between Bridge 9A, New By-Pass Road Bridge and Bridge 10, A572 Road Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal, Leigh Branch to conduct tests to assess the condition of the towpath below ground level.   

We politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop to allow any equipment to be moved out the way for safe passage. We are not expecting any delay to towpath users they will maintain access at all times. Please listen to any advice that may be given by the third party contractors and take note of the signage onsite.
