Description
Please be advised third party contractors will be onsite between Haverbreaks Bridge 95 and Basin Bridge 98 to remove a redundant gas main from the side of Aldcliffe Road Footbridge 96 over Lancaster Canal.
Whilst this will not impact on canal navigation we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and to listen to any advice that may be given by the banksmen onsite and to expect a wait of no more than 30 minutes whilst the contractors move their equipment out the way to allow for a safe passage.
To be able to carry out these necessary works, the towpath will be closed and a diversion route along Aldcliffe Road will be signposted onsite.
