Description
We are sorry to advise that a large oak tree has fallen across the Canal, forming an impassable obstruction at Bridge 115 (Bristow).
Our contractors have been informed and are mobilising, however heavy specialist equipment is required due to the size of the tree, and the timeline for clearance is therefore uncertain.
Unfortunately it is likely that the Canal will be closed overnight tonight and for at least some of the weekend.
