Description
Please be advised the towpath is closed at Bridge 1 on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, Rufford Branch due to emergency repair works.
Our teams were onsite today to investigate movement in the bridge parapet. Following the investigation the emergency work will start on Thursday 5th of December.
We will need to close off the bridge and towpath for the duration of the works.
We plan for the works to be completed for the 24th December with an update provided before then.
