Assisted passage is no longer needed and the lock is self operational again.

As water levels have increased again it is necessary to control the water through Castleford Lock.
Assisted passage through Castleford Lock will be available between 8:00am and 4:00pm.

Water levels have reduced sufficiently to allow self operation through the lock.
Description
During the planned stoppage at Bulholme Lock we are controlling the water through Castleford Junction Lock and self operation of the lock will not be possible.
Assisted passage through Castleford Lock will be available between 8:00am and 4:00pm for the duration of the stoppage at Bulholme which is until 13 December 2019.
