Sheffield & South Yorkshire navigation - flooding update Rotherham Lock to Jordans Lock

Please be advised Rotherham lock to Jordan's lock is now available for passage.

Rotherham Lock to Long Sandall Lock is now open for navigation.

We will update this notice when Rotherham Lock to Jordans Lock is navigable.

Staff are working over the weekend to clear the lock chambers between Rotherham Lock to Long Sandall Lock and we anticipate this section of the navigation will reopen on Monday 2nd December.

Passage from Rotherham Lock to Jordans Lock remain closed due to large amounts of debris and siltation in the lock chambers.

We will update this notice on Monday.

Due to falling water levels, the section of navigation between Long Sandall Lock and Bramwith Lock is open. 

The rest of the navigation still remains closed.
