Description
In preparation for the planned winter works on the Lune Embankment, our contractors will be onsite installing the over-pumping system on to the towpath between Lune Aqueduct and Bulk Road Aqueduct on the Lancaster Canal.
To ensure the safety of our customers, the towpath will be closed between 9am and 4pm daily, week commencing Monday 28 October. The towpath will only be closed where the work is taking place each day and will be re-opened when safe to do so.
Please listen to the onsite team and take note of any signage that may be onsite. Canal navigation is not affected, however we politely request all customers to listen to any advice that may be given onsite.
