Please be advised that the debris buildup at Worcester Bridge has now been cleared.

Please be advised that the Environment Agency, Highways Agency and ourselves will be conducting debris clearance at Worcester Bridge from 9am on Monday 11th Nov in order to clear the 4 blocked arches.

Navigation will be closed from Worcester Bridge to Diglis lock in anticipation of large amounts of debris moving down the river as a result of the clearance works. We will endeavour to remove as much material from the water as possible including clearing the plastic rubbish.

Description

Please be advised that if you are travelling downstream on the River Severn the middle right Arch of Worcester Bridge is obstructed by a large tree. Both our team and teams from the Environment Agency have been trying to clear this however this has been unsuccessful. 

Please take extra care when navigating this section of the river and be aware of the possibility of floating debris.
