Contractors working on behalf of Network Rail will be undertaking a bridge inspection and take coring samples of the Kingswood Rail Bridge. To undertake these works safely the towpath will need to be closed. To minimise disruption, the towpath will be closed between 23.00 – 05.00 during the night. The towpath moorings will also be suspended during the works. The works will involve a coring rig and lighting equipment which will increase noise and light during the hours of work. The works are programmed for 3-night shifts between 14th – 16th October.
