Water levels at lock 17 on the Northampton arm have now been returned to normal and the lock is now navigable. Thank you for your patience.

We are experiencing low water levels as a result of the paddles being left open overnight at lock 17 on the Northampton Arm of the Grand Union Canal.
This means that this length of the canal is not currently navigable. Our team are working to rectify the situation as soon as possible and we will update this notice once navigation can resume.
Customers should avoid this section of canal until further notice.
As a polite reminder - please ensure lock gates and paddles are closed after using locks.
