Deansgate Railway Viaduct, Rochdale Canal

Please be advised third party contractors will be onsite to carry out a detailed inspection of Deansgate Railway Viaduct on the Rochdale Canal.

To be able to inspect the viaduct, a pontoon will be in placed in to the canal. We politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop to allow the pontoon to be moved out the way for safe passage. We anticipate a wait of no longer than 30 minutes. Please listen to any advice that may be given by the onsite banksmen.
