Please be advised that this issue has now been resolved and the navigation is now open.

Unfortunately, our specialist contractors who were scheduled to be attending the bridge at Tyle Mill this evening are still trying to resolve another emergency issue elsewhere and so will be unable to attend tonight as planned.
They will now be attending on Saturday morning (28th September) at approximately 08:00. A further update will be provided as soon as further information is known about when we can re-open the bridge and navigation.

Please be advised that there is a mechanical fault on Tyle Mill Swingbridge that is causing the securing wedges not to fully retract, restricting its opening.
Our engineers have been advised and will be on site within 4 hours to repair this issue.
