Bridge 131A, Daneshouse Bridge, Leeds and Liverpool Canal.

Please be advised third party contractors will be onsite to install pigeon netting to the underside of a third party owned bridge, Bridge 131A, Daneshouse Bridge on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.

To be able to install the netting, a pontoon will be placed in the water. We politely request all customers to listen to any advice that might be given by the onsite banksmen, to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop. We anticipate a wait of no longer than 10 minutes whilst the equipment is moved out the way.

Due to nesting birds, the contractors will be making daily visits to site and will only commence work once the nesting pigeons have left the site. The proposed works will take 4 days, however with the uncertainty of when the birds will leave site, the proposed dates will be between 1 October and 22 November.

An update will be provided once the works are able to start.
