We’re sorry for the inconvenience that has been caused by the faulty sluice at Brentford and would like to thank you for your patience.

We are currently running water from the long pound towards Brentford. Levels at lock 97 are now recovered.  We are hopeful that we will see an improvement in levels over the coming hours along the entire stretch which will be enough for boats to be fully afloat again. We are also mobilising a pump to site to support the re-filling of the pound.

Further updates will be provided as to when the locks will be reopened.

The failed floodgate has now been repaired and water is being run towards the Brentford Area.

Further updates will be provided when Locks are able to be opened.
