Description
Winter Passages-
During winter passages, booking is needed to use the tunnel.
Please call our office at Cambrian wharf or book online at https://licensing.canalrivertrust.org.uk minimum of 48 hours in advance.
Tunnel passages are available Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturdays. Tunnel passages start at 8:30 am each day.
Booking Timetable
North to South 8:30am & 10:10am
South to North 9:20am & 11:00am

1st November – 23rd December inclusive – Winter passages times apply.
3nd January – 29th February inclusive – Winter passages times apply.
Christmas & New Year Opening Days-
27th December - Tunnel Open 8:30 – 11:00am, book before 3pm on the 23rd Dec
28th December - Tunnel Open 8:30 – 11:00am, book before 3pm on the 23rd Dec
30th December - Tunnel Open 8:30 – 11:00am, book before 3pm on the 23rd Dec
Boats arriving at the tunnel after 11am will not be allowed to travel.
We have to be strict about this as the team have other critical maintenance to perform after the tunnel passages are finished.
