Please be advised that we have successfully repaired the balance beam and the lock is now operational to users.

There is no access across the bottom gates, but it can be opened and closed. Further repairs will commence next week, and we will endeavour to keep our customers updated.

Navigation is closed as engineers have inspected the damage and we are going to start undertaking repairs today to the balance beam (13 September).
