The lock is now available for passage using the upstream & downstream towpath side gate only.
Passage through the lock is available for one narrow boat at a time due to the damage to the off side gates.

We are currently inspecting the gates with a view to carrying out temporary repairs.

Due to misuse of the lock it is now closed for navigation.
We are currently investigating the extent of the damage and will update this notice when we have further information.
Description
We are currently experiencing low water levels in the pound above Misterton Top Lock.
Passage is restricted at this time until water is recovered.
