Between Lock 1 and Lock 7

To maximise the available water, the Trust is taking sensible precaution of locking Watford Locks up overnight. 

This measure is intended to reduce the potential for water losses and allow back pumps more time to transfer water onto the Leicester Summit. 

Therefore, between 28th October and the 29th March the flight will be unlocked between 9:00am and 3:30pm, the last boat through the lock will be at 2:45pm.  

Please ensure you have booked with the Lock Keeper before entering the flight, the Lock Keeper will be either on the lock flight or in the Lock Keepers hut at the top of the lock flight.
