Following on from further assessments this morning it has been decided that Lock 2, Twyford Lock, will remain closed for a further 24 hours.

Further monitoring will be undertaken over the weekend to ascertain whether the Lock will need to remain closed or is able to be opened on Saturday the 24th of August.

Following on from assessments this morning it has been decided that due to ongoing low water levels, Lock 2, Twyford Lock, will remain closed for a further 24 hours.

Further assessments will be made on Friday the 23rd of August as to whether the Lock can be opened after this time.

Description

Following on from on-site assessments, Lock 2, Twyford Lock will be closed for the next 24 hours. Ashing of the gates is also being undertaken.
