Following on from assessments overnight and this morning, Lock 4 Stanstead Lock is now open.
The Local Operations Team will continue to monitor water levels and advise if any further restrictions need to be made.

Following on from assessments this morning it has been decided that due to ongoing low water levels, Lock 4, Stanstead Lock, will remain closed for a further 24 hours.
Further assessments will be made on Friday the 16th of August as to whether the Lock can be opened after this time.

Following on from assessments by our Operational Team, we have made the decision for Lock 4, Stanstead Lock, to remain closed for a further 24 hours to continue to manage water levels in this area.
Our team will be reassessing the situation on Thursday the 15th of August and will be able to provide an update after this time.
Description
Staff will be closing the use of Lock 4, Stanstead lock from 18:00 hrs on Tuesday 13 August until 08:00hrs on Wednesday 14 August to manage below water levels in this area
