The lock is now obstruction free and navigation is fully available.

Staff will be in attendance on Friday 16 August investigating the issue. Boats wishing to navigate through may experience delays up to an hour during this time.

Staff have be able to manoeuvre the gates to allow boats in this location to navigate through.

However the obstruction remains and works are continuing to remove the locate and remove the obstruction. As such a closure is still required to complete these works.

Navigation is closed due to an obstruction preventing the bottom gates from closing.
