Description
Problem: There is excessive leakage from the lock, which is also washing out fines from behind the walls and is a concern regarding the lock fabric. Contractors will be injecting resin grout into the lock walls
CRT have Contractors working in the lock to carry out leakage prevention works.
The lock use will be restricted whilst Contractors are working in the lock. There may be delays up to 1hr whilst Contractors vacate the lock to allow boats through.
Contractors on site will help to pen boats through the lock. Restriction will only be to the working week days between 8-00am and 4-00pm. The lock will be fully open on the weekend and after 4pm every evening.
