Lock 15, Cromwell Lock, River Trent

The island side top gate at Cromwell Lock (Lock 15) on the River Trent has developed an hydraulic fault which means it cannot be operated.

The lock is still operational, however entry and exit through the top gates can only be made through the lock house side gate which restricts its use to craft with a beam of approximately 14 feet or less.

Engineers have been scheduled to attend site at the lock first thing on Monday morning to repair the fault.

Please follow all instructions from the on site lock keeper while navigating the lock.
