The repair at Lock 65 has been now completed. Both locks are now operational for navigation
Description
Please be advised our team will be onsite at Lock 65, Wheelock Top Lock on the Trent and Mersey Canal to carry out a repair to the damaged pier head.
As this is a twin lock, initial works will be facilitated to the offside lock, once complete, the team will then carry out a repair to the towpath side lock.
Navigation will be kept open via the adjoining lock whilst the other lock is being repaired.
We politely request all our customers to approach the area with caution and to listen to any advice that may be given by our onsite team.
