The engineering works at Wootton Rivers pump station has now resolved the issue we had over the previous weekend and we don't anticipate any further restrictions to the summit.

The Wootton Rivers pumps are running OK and are expected to survive until Thursday 23rd May when a more comprehensive repair can be organised.
The summit isn't expected to suffer so there are no current plans to restrict the summit and the pumps are not expected to be off Thursday for long enough to affect levels.

Water levels are slowly recovering. The restriction will remain in place this evening and be reviewed tomorrow (20/05/2019) at 1400
Description
Due to a Pump failure at Wootton Rivers, the summit pound (54 to 55) levels are falling.
To preserve water levels, a navigation restriction will be implemented.
The Summit pound will be closed to boat traffic overnight. opening hours - 9am to 6pm daily.
This notice will be updated on Sunday 19th May.
