Network Rail contractors will be carrying out examination of the rail bridge structure utilizing a floating pontoon with appropriate signage present at the location.
Boaters are advised to slow down in the area as the pontoon may be in the centre of the navigation whilst carrying out the works.
The canal navigation and towpath will remain open for the duration of the works.
