Railway Bridge 2c, Erewash Canal, Long Eaton

Contractors (Arco Professional Services Ltd) working on behalf of Network Rail will be carrying out a detailed inspection of Bridge 2c of the Erewash Canal.  The works will be undertaken at night for three nights.  They will be using a combination of a pontoon/scaffold tower and roped access methods to access the bridge. 

While we advise against navigating at night, should any craft be moving while the inspection is underway we ask that you please approach with care and be prepared to stop and wait while works are halted to allow boats to pass. The work site will be lit and all equipment/plant will be removed each day.
