The tree has now been removed and the navigation has re-open. Thank you for your patience whilst we dealt with this incident

Due to the extreme weather, the contractors will be unable to clear this tree from the navigation today.

They will be on site first thing tomorrow, we will update this notice once we have confirmation the navigation is clear.

Description

A tree has come down across the navigation and towpath.  A team of contractors are on their way and will up date this notice as soon as the navigation has re-opened.
