Updates

We are pleased to confirm the works at Ty Gwynn Bridge 102 are complete and the navigation is now open.

13/02/2020 16:05

Repairs to the wet abutments of Bridge 102 have been delayed due to additional works being required to address a bulge in the offside abutment.

Our contractors are working hard to minimise the impact on the duration of the closure but we will need to extend the stoppage for up to one week in order to complete the extra work involved.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Description

The wet abutments of the bridge are in a poor state of repair. Fabric dams are required to dewater this section so that the underwater repairs to the bridge can take place.
