Our contractors, AMCO, are carrying out work to replace the life expired control equipment at Lock 8, Holme Lock.
Modifications required to the original design have, unfortunately, meant a delay on the timing of the works. However, the majority of this can now be done under restriction. Please see our restriction notice: https://canalrivertrust.org.uk/notices/16960-lock-8-holme-lock
AMCO will still require a short stoppage during the project and this has been programmed for 9th to 13th March.

Our contractors have requested an extension to the closure of one week in order to complete the extensive works required to replace the control system at Lock 8, Holme Lock.
As a result, please note the revised end date for this stoppage.
