Unfortunately we need to extend the stoppage at Lock 16, Greensforge, by up to two weeks. Unexpected repairs and alterations are required to the cast iron cill at the bottom end gates.
We will continue to work as hard as possible to complete these changes as soon as we can.
Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
A stoppage is required to replace the lock gates and carry out repairs to the chamber brickwork, paddles, quadrant and lock ladder.
