Flooding in the area has caused considerable issues with maintaining the temporary dams at Lock 6. However, work is continuing on site and, as the navigation is currently closed in the area, we will also take the opportunity to carry out additional work, including relining the mitres, replacing fenders and capping the cills.
The work is expected to continue for a further week, until 6th March 2020.
Replacement of the gate back planking to reduce leakage.
